Today we prepared for the written test next week. We got information about the 4 countries we did our presentations on. We also learned about pentatonic scales from China and Java. On Monday, we're going to have the written test.

On Friday, we did the presentation for Korean traditional music. We didn't do really well. Luckily, we get to redo it on Monday. On Monday, we're also going to learn about pentatonic scales.

On Monday, we learned how to sing 2 of the Asian songs we got last week. We learned how to sing the ones from Japan and the ones from China. I think I did fairly well while singing the Japanese song, but the Chinese song was pretty difficult. On Friday, we're going to continue learning how to sing the korean song and Indian song, then we'll have the assessment for singing one of the Asian songs.

Today in music class, we learned about the scales and the triads that go with it. The first time I learned it (which was last week), I had a REALLY hard time with it but now I understand it. Later Friday this week, we'll have the written test. I guess thats about it.

Today, we practiced playing the indonesian ethnic song on our instruments. For piano, the song is Suwe Ora Jamu. I did kind of well but i still need to practice the song. Next week, we're going to do the assessment.

This monday, we learned about an indonesian ethnic song called suwe ora jamu. We're supposed to learn this song based on our instrument so I have to play it on piano. I think I did pretty good but I need to improve more if I want to get a good grade. The next thing we're going to do in class is the assessment for the indonesian ethnic song.
